The Toy Story Steering Wheel Sound Book: Toys to the Rescue puts children in the driver seat for an interactive storybook adventure. Kids grab hold of the toy steering wheel attached to the book and join Sheriff Woody and Buzz Lightyear in their high-speed journey back to Andy and the rest of the toys. The book is designed for kids ages 3 to 5.

A toy steering wheel mounted on a telescoping base raises and locks into place. Sound buttons make realistic vehicle sounds to accompany the story. Illustrated icons in the text match big, bright buttons on the dashboard panel. As readers and pre-readers follow the story, they can press the matching buttons, honk the horn, and turn the steering wheel left and right to make the sounds of the fast-paced adventure come alive. Each two-page spread features the story with an illustration on the left-hand page, while the right-hand page shows what the child sees through the ‘windshield’ at a particular point in the story.

Children press the buttons on the dashboard and turn the steering wheel to simulate 13 different remote control car sounds, including:

Engine revving
Wheels spinning
Brakes squealing
Horns honking
Radio playing

The book’s extra-thick, coated pages prevent rips and tears and stand up to repeated use. Three replaceable long-life button cell batteries that power the book are included.
